Clinical Aspect of Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation Syndrome
Abe Takeshi

Abstract
Disseminated intravascular coagulation syndromes is a special state in which the equilibrium between coagulation and fibrinolysis is drastically derivated to, invite continuous, so called oozing type of, bleeding or generalized hemorrhagic tendency and typical disturbance of blood circulation in local and/or general scales. And this condition has been paid much attention not only by specialists of blood coagulation and fibrinolysis, but also by practitioners in various fields of medicine, as it can easily develop to the shock states based on multiple origins and not so seldom, it often plays very important roles in pathogenesis of many kinds of disease and makes their feature complicated.
From this point of view diagnosis and differentiation of its reaction mechanismus must be done at its possible earliest stage in order to treat patients quickly and adequately.
As the main basic disorders the following diseases are regarded:
1) inflammatory or infectious diseases,
2) malignant tumors and their metastasis,
3) gynecological episodes, such as immature separation of pre- or ortho- planted placenta, embolism of amniotic fluid and retention of dead fetus, 4) endotoxin or other types of shock,
5) burns and other heavy trauma,
6) grave surgical operations,
7) myocardial and pulmonary infarctions,
8) cerebral apoplexia,
9) mesenteric thromboembolism and hemorrhages, 10) liver cirrhosis and 11) side reactions of various therapeutics.
On the other hand, its pathogenetic,. particularly its triggering mechanism is supposed in two ways:
1) primary coagulation and secondary fibrinolysis, and
2) primary fibrinolysis. However, it is not always easy to make this diagnosis, especially the differentiation of its triggering mechanism. Here I would like to present you some practical cases in this state.
